Day 01 Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu (2250m)

Fly to Paro with fascinating views of the eastern Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest. Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive to the capital, Thimphu. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 02 Thimphu – Trongsa (2200m)

Early breakfast, embark on a 7-8-hour journey to central Bhutan, passing through alpine forests and three districts. Enjoy splendid views of mountain ranges and village hamlets, with a packed lunch at Chendebji. Overnight at a hotel in Trongsa.

Day 03 Trongsa - Mongar(1700m)

Drive from central Bhutan to Mongar, taking seven to eight hours. Traverse the scenic Bumthang valley and cross the Thrimshing La pass at 12500 ft before descending into the east and reaching Mongar. Overnight at the Tourist Guesthouse.

Day 04 Mongar – Galing

Visit Mongar Dzong and then drive to Trashigang, the easternmost region of Bhutan. Lunch at a tourist lodge and continue driving to Galing, 13km north of Trashigang.

Day 05 Trashiyangtse Excursions

Drive to Trashiyangtse, the easternmost district of Bhutan, bordering Arunachal Pradesh in India.Visit Chorten Kora and explore traditional paper production and wooden bowl crafting. Overnight in Trashigang.

Day 06 Trashigang – Bumthang(2800m)

Early breakfast, drive to Bumthang via Mongar.

Day 07 Bumthang sightseeing

Explore the Bumthang valley, known for its spacious and open terrain. Visit Jamphel Lhakhang, Kurgey Lakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong, and Membartsho flaming Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Bumthang to Punakha

After breakfast, head to the beautiful city of Punakha. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 09 Punakha – Thimphu (2350m)

Enjoy a leisurely ride to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Have a picnic lunch riverside before riding back to Punakha. Drive to Thimphu. Overnight at your hotel in Thimphu.

Day 10 Thimphu Sightseeing

Visit the weekend market, National Library, School of Arts & Crafts, Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Sangaygang, and Zilukha nunnery. After lunch, explore the Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 11 Thimphu – Paro sightseeing

Drive to Paro and visit the ruined Drukgyel Dzong, National Museum, and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight in Paro.

Day 12 Excursion to Taktshang (3120m)

Early breakfast, drive to the foot of the Taktshang cliff, and hike uphill for 2 hours to reach the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Overnight in Paro.
