Day 01: Arrival in Paro (2,280m/7,480ft)

Commence your journey with a scenic flight to Paro, where you'll be welcomed by our Bhutanese guide from Unseen Valley tours & Travel. After landing, enjoy the stunning views of Paro Dzong and the Himalayas from your hotel. Rest, refresh, and receive a briefing on the trek itinerary. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing and Acclimatization Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (3,180m/10,433ft)

Embark on an early morning hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff. The trail takes you through a pine forest, past temples, and a sacred pool. After the trek, the evening is free for personal exploration. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Paro to Sharna (Distance 17 km, Walking Time 5-6 hours)

Start at Drukgyel and camp near Sharna Zampa. The trail follows the Paro river through an agricultural valley, gradually climbing to a meadow opposite the Gunyitsawa Army check post. Camp in a spacious area surrounded by pine forests. Overnight at Camp.

Day 04: Trek from Shana to Sio Thangthangkha (3,750m/12,303ft, 7-8 hours)

Embark on a challenging trek covering 21 km. Traverse a lush forest, cross wooden bridges, and experience ups and downs. Reach a meadow for camping with the first glimpse of Mt. Jomolhari if weather permits. Overnight at Camp.

Day 05: Thangthangkha – Jangothang (4,050m/13,287ft, 5-6 hours)

Continue up the Paro Chhu valley, passing alpine meadows and quaint villages. Cross an army checkpoint and revel in the breathtaking views of high mountain ridges. Reach Jangothang, offering a spectacular view of Mount Jomolhari. Overnight at Camp.

Day 06: Rest day at Jangothang for acclimatization

Take a day of rest at Jangothang, with options for short hikes and exploration of the surroundings, including the ruins of an old fortress.

Day 07: Trek from Jangothang to Lingshi (4890m, 21 km, 6-7 hours)

Trek from Jangothang to Lingshi, encountering the first major pass at 4,890m (Nyile-la). Enjoy snow peak views and camp near a stream in a meadow. Overnight at Camp.

Day 08: Trek from Lingshi to Shodu (4950m, 22 km, 7-8 hours)

Embark on a long trek, passing the Yeli La pass and enjoying majestic snow-capped views. Descend to the campsite at Shodu, offering a steep downhill experience. Overnight at Camp.

Day 09: Trek from Shodu to Barshong (3720m, 14 km, 4-5 hours)

Return to the tree line, descending through rhododendron and alpine forests. Enjoy views of rocky cliffs and waterfalls before reaching Barshong. Camp near the ruins of a small Dzong. Overnight at Camp.

Day 10: Trek from Barshong to Dodina (Trek ends, 22 km, 7-8 hours) and drive to Thimphu

Descend to the Thimphu Chhu river valley, passing through dense forests. After the trek, drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Explore the town, purchase souvenirs, and reminisce about the trek. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11: Sightseeing in Thimphu City

Embark on a sightseeing tour in Thimphu, visiting Zelukha Nunnery, National Library, Memorial Chorten, Handicrafts Emporium, Post Office, and strolling around the city for shopping.

Day 12: Transfer to Paro Airport – Departure

Drive to Paro International Airport for your departure, concluding your remarkable Druk Path with Unseen Valley Tours & Travel. Bid farewell as you board the plane back to your homeland.
